Fitness
Physical fitness has been a very important part of our lives over the last several years. What began as an effort to ward off the middle age spread has become an ambitious lifestyle for both Megan and me. Megan generally prefers “Zumba” cardio, while I prefer weightlifting, running, and cycling. Our first week here we joined the Evergreen Parks Department’s fitness centers. The facilities are fabulous, and we have already begun meeting some other fitness-oriented locals/fitness center regulars.
Here we will post up various fitness-related things we’re working on, including links to events we’re participating in. I’m getting ready for a few epic bike rides, as well as a couple of half-marathons. I have been helping Megan really get into a routine of weightlifting and cardio, and she’s really starting to feel it this week!
